This Privacy Policy explains what information LinkMyBiz ("we", "us") collects when you use the LinkMyBiz mobile app, and how we use, share, and protect it. By using LinkMyBiz, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information: your email address and password (used only for sign-in; passwords are never stored in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Profile information: full name, age, state, city, address, PIN code, phone number, email, business/individual type, and an optional profile or company logo photo.
Content you post: business opportunity listings, "looking for business" listings, startup fundraising profiles (including financial details, founder information, and pitch materials you choose to upload), investor profiles, export/import listings, and any applications you submit -- including optional file attachments (PDF, Word documents, images, or video).
Contact preferences: your Allow Calls / Allow Emails settings, which control whether other users can see your phone number or email.
Usage information: when you last opened the app (used to distinguish active from inactive accounts), and a record of when you tap Call or Email on another user's listing (used only for internal usage reporting -- see Section 5).
Support messages: anything you submit through the in-app "Reach Us" feedback form.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Your phone number and email are never shown to other users unless you turn on the corresponding Allow Calls / Allow Emails toggle yourself, or you take an action that shares it as part of normal app use (for example, being selected for an interview on an application you submitted).
We share data with the following service providers, solely to operate the app:

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
A small number of internal-only reports (postings per category, active user counts, application status counts, and call/email tap counts) are visible to the app's operator for the purpose of understanding and improving the app. These reports are aggregate/summary in nature and are not shared outside LinkMyBiz.
Data is stored with Supabase over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to your data is restricted by row-level security rules so that, other than what you choose to make visible through the app's normal features, only you can read or edit your own profile and postings.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you deactivate your account, your personal details are scrubbed from view but postings or messages already shared with other users prior to deactivation may remain. If you request full deletion, we will remove your account and associated personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
LinkMyBiz is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Resend) may process and store data on servers located outside India. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely wherever it is processed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves. Continuing to use LinkMyBiz after an update means you accept the revised policy.
